"BOOT THE FOOT" #05: EYESORE VS. "PIZZAFACE"!
SkumBeast: How would you describe your art style and what influences have helped shape that style?
EyeSore: I like cartoon and realistic style. I thought it would be cool if I combined them in one style.  I’ve tried it and now it’s my own art style.  If you see my works, you could see the outlines are a bit thick and simple with some hatching everywhere with the colors having a bit of a realist style.
I don’t remember who most influenced this style because I use a lot of art as a reference.
Skumbeast: Share a bit about your history with TMNT and tell a bit about why you chose this character and decided to interpret it this way. Was this character your favorite? Did you think the character was initially ill-designed and have always wanted to improve on it? Is there a story behind they way you depicted your character?
EyeSore: This reminds me of my childhood. They are my favorite cartoon.  I chose Pizzaface because this character was a great fit with my art style. Nasty and dirty. Yeah, this is my other favorite character after the turtles.  All of the characters are cool. Created according to their respective roles.  I didn’t need to fix it, so I just did a little improving to make it even more great.
You can follow more of EYESORE’s work (as well as buy some of his awesome stuff) at:

We encourage you to reblog and share each post with others, of course, but we also encourage you to check out the various artists through the links we provide.  Follow them, support them, encourage them, and buy stuff from them.
